KARACHI: Kainat Imtiaz struck fine 74 and then got two wickets to guide Omar Associates Club to a 91-run victory over Karachi Zebras in their game of the Inter-District Women Cricket tournament here at the National Stadium on Sunday.
Omar Associates Club piled up 272-7 in the allotted 50 overs.
Muneeba Ali (47), Javeria Rauf (28) and Maham Tariq (28*) were the other prominent scorers. Zainab Hameed got 2-34.
In response, Karachi Zebras were all out for 181 with Areeba Hanif scoring 41. Sana Taj (28), Zoha Amin (31) and Subhana Tariq (28) also did well with the bat. Javeria Rauf, Kainat Imtiaz and Rida Hussain picked two wickets each.
