On February 15, Lahore police arrested two men accused of assaulting a pregnant woman in Kahna. The incident was reported after the woman, a seven-month pregnant catering company waitress, was allegedly lured to a private residence on Defense Road and assaulted by the company owner and his associate.

Using modern technology, police traced and apprehended the suspects in Johar Town. SP Model Town, Shahrbano Naqvi, personally oversaw the operation.

A case has been registered under section 375A at Kahna police station following the attack, which also involved physical violence against the woman when she resisted.

The arrested suspects, identified as Abbas and Azam, have been handed over to the gender cell for further investigation. SP Shahrbano Naqvi emphasized that those who exploit women do not deserve leniency.
