US lady journalist held

PESHAWAR – An official handout issued in Peshawar on April 23 said that US citizen Miss Griswold Aliza Tracy, who is a freelance journalist, was caught while trying to cross over to the tribal areas from Bannu illegally.

The lady was dressed in burqa and tribal clothes; she had no other travelling documents except for a visit visa. She was later handed over to the ISPR and then to Press Information Department, after investigation she was sent to Islamabad.
