Islamabad, 27-Jan-2026 (PPI): Police personnel across the federal capital have been instructed to maintain a state of high alert and closely monitor any suspicious activities following a comprehensive review of security arrangements by a senior official.

The directive came from SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, during his inspection of various duty points throughout the city.

During the tour, the senior police officer met with deployed officers and other staff, conducting a detailed assessment of the existing security measures.

He explicitly directed the force to perform their responsibilities with heightened professionalism, integrity, and vigilance at all times.

SSP Raza reaffirmed the commitment of the Islamabad Police to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens, stating that all available resources are being utilised to reinforce security.

The SSP also commended the performance of officers working in the field and issued an appeal to the public.

Residents were urged to cooperate with law enforcement by immediately reporting any unusual or suspicious incidents to the police.
