Islamabad, 27-Jan-2026 (PPI): The Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad has been mandated to resolve all cases of illegal property occupation reported by overseas Pakistanis within a strict seven-day timeframe, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced.
In a post published on his X social media handle, the minister affirmed that the capital's administration is now bound to decide on such grievances within the stipulated period.
Mr Naqvi gave an assurance that the property rights of expatriates would be robustly protected, underscoring that their financial contributions are both welcomed and valued.
He further pledged to provide a secure and investor-friendly environment for Pakistanis residing abroad.
The minister stated that the government will ensure swift and transparent action is taken to fully safeguard the assets of all overseas investors.
