KARACHI – Federal Privitization and Investment Minsiter Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has said that it is high time that women are provided equal opportunities in every field so that they could also play their due role in progress of the country.

He was speaking at a function organized by the Ladies Forum to give awards to two women, a social worker Begum Ghamar Ispahani, and a banker Zarine Aziz.

The Women of the Year award was given to a banker Zarine Aziz, who is the president of First Women Bank.

The Ladies Forum has been giving these awards for the last 12 years to outstanding women.
