Quetta, 27-Jan-2024 (PPI): A Grade 6 pupil from Quetta has brought international acclaim to Pakistan by securing a Silver Medal at the 7th Copernicus Natural Science Olympiad Global Final, recently concluded in Houston, USA.

Arpanga Baryal, a student of the Learning House School System, distinguished herself among a competitive field of participants from more than 50 nations, proudly representing her country at the prestigious event.

This accomplishment is being recognised as a considerable milestone in Baryal's academic career and serves as a powerful testament to the significant potential of young talent emerging from Balochistan on the world stage.

The Copernicus Olympiad, renowned for its unique blend of demanding academics, cultural immersion, and international cooperation, was instrumental in developing the young scholar's problem-solving abilities and broadening her global outlook.

Beyond the competition, Baryal's visit to the United States was enriched by educational excursions to prominent Houston landmarks, including the Houston Museum of Natural Science and NASA’s Johnson Space Center.
