Karachi, 26-Jan-2026 (PPI): A fourth consignment of relief supplies from China, carrying thousands of essential items for victims of recent natural calamities, has arrived in Pakistan.
The latest shipment includes fourteen thousand tents, twelve thousand blankets, and one thousand sleeping bags intended for those displaced by the disasters.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has taken custody of the materials, transporting them by lorry to a secure warehouse in the city for inventory and subsequent dispatch.
This delivery brings the cumulative assistance received from China across all four aid packages to forty-five thousand blankets, twenty thousand tents, five thousand sleeping bags, one hundred boats, and one thousand life jackets.
According to the NDMA, the authority is utilising all its resources to assist disaster victims and will ensure the timely supply of these relief goods to impacted areas based on assessed needs.
