LARKANA: A young man was killed and his father injured near Mehar on Sunday on the Karo-Kari issue. Heirs of the deceased later carried the body and staged a sit-in, blocking the main road while chanting slogans against the killers.
Two groups of Solangi community clashed in the jurisdiction of Thariri police station, in village Mian-Jo-Goath over a Karo-Kari issue. One of the groups attacked and killed 30-year-old Akhtar Ali Solangi and injured his father, while they were working with others in the fields.
The heirs later carried the body to Mehar-Nau Goth Road and staged a sit-in, which suspended the traffic for three hours. They told the media men that armed men attacked them while they were working in their fields.
