I AGREE with Rizwan Zamir (Aug 2) who rightly observed that “we are with Ms Maheen just for the greater interest of this cause and for the dignity and honour of the workers in our field.”

I would like to add that all over the world, especially in the US and Europe, electronic media owners have laid down a policy for the protection and conducive environment for women workers. I endorse the demand of the PFUJ and IFJ for holding an independent inquiry into this incident.
