NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Sept 3: A group of armed men kidnapped two women after barging into their house in Ghulam Hussain Bhutto village near Moro late on Tuesday night.
Reports said that 19 armed men forcibly took away Ms Rasheed, wife of Basheer Ahmed Bhutto, and Ms Karima, 18, daughter of Ihsan Ali Bhutto after injuring Basheer Ahmed and Ghulam Rasool Bhutto.
They took away the kidnappees in a boat across the River Indus.
According to area people, the incident was an offshoot of a dispute over matrimonial issues between two groups.
Police have lodged an FIR on a complaint filed by Bashir Ahmed against 19 people including Sawan Bhutto, Sajan Bhutto, Allah Dino Bhutto, Dost Mohammad Bhutto, Hakim Ali Chandio, Bachal Chandio and Abdul Razzaq Chandio.
The injured were admitted to Moro taluka hospital.
