LARKANA    –   The head of a young woman, Fareeda, wife of Abdul Qayoom Dahar, a resident of Khalique Colony, was allegedly shaved by her in-laws. The affected woman reached the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) on Friday along with her son and submitted her application against the inhuman act, requesting justice.  She was sent to SP Complaint Cell Akhtar Hussain Chandio who directed the incharge Women & Protection Cell Naghma Naz to personally supervise the investigation. He also directed SHO Allahabad to conduct an inquiry into the incident and register a case if proved true. SSP Masood Bangash also took notice of the issue and directed the Allahabad police station SHO to probe the matter thoroughly and take legal action according to law against the accused. She had accused her father in law, mother in law and sisters in law of torturing and head shaving in her application.
