Woman appeals for daughters’ recovery

MIRPURKHAS: Ms Nazeera alias Razia has called upon the president, prime minister, chief minister and provincial police officer to take legal action against Haji Rehmatullah Janjhi and Haji Shoukatullah Janjhi whom she accused of detaining her two daughters for past five years.

She told a press conference here on Thursday that about six years ago her daughter Ms Seema was married to one Waryam who lived in Saleh Janjhi village of Mithi taluka.

She returned just a few months after marriage and said her husband had pushed her out because she was pregnant and he had refused to bear expenses, she said.

Ms Razio said that later one Haji Rehmatullah Janjhi of the same village came to her and assured that her daughter would now live in Mithi with her husband and would be allowed to meet her relatives. She said that on his assurance she also sent her younger daughter Maryam with Seema but despite lapse of five years she had not been allowed to see her daughters.

When she went to Saleh Janjhi village Haji Rahmatullah Janjhi did not allow her to meet her daughters and threatened her of dire consequences, she said and urged authorities to register arrest the accused and recover her daughters.
