Two-year-old allegedly raped in capital

ISLAMABAD: A two-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in the federal capital, police said on Monday. The Bara Kahu police said that LA* told them that his two-year-old daughter, A*, had ventured outside the house at around 10am. When she did not return, her mother became worried and went looking for her. The mother then saw her daughter come out from her neighbour’s house crying while the suspect allegedly hid in his house. LA claimed that the suspect, who hailed from Swat and had recently settled in the neighbourhood, had allegedly raped his young daughter. The police have registered a case against the suspect.
