Two women were killed in two different incidents of murder and suicide on Sunday. According to police, the complainant alleged that her mother was shot dead by unknown assailants while asleep at midnight. The accused managed to escape from the spot. In another incident, a newly-wed bride (N) committed suicide by taking poisonous pills due to a domestic dispute in the limits of City Police Station. She was shifted to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad in critical condition, where she could not survive.
Police have registered the cases and started investigations.
