LAHORE: A woman and her young daughter were killed by her two sons allegedly in the name
of honour in the Kahna area here on Friday.

The victims were identified as Rukhsana Bibi and her daughter, Rimsha (25)
The police arrested the suspects who were identified as Ali Hassan and Ali Zain. They were sons
of Rukhsana Bibi.

A police official said Rimsha had gone somewhere and came back home some days later.
The suspects alleged that she had a relationship with a man and tortured her for being out of the
home for days. They alleged that their mother was supporting their sister.

Quoting some close relatives of the slain women, a police official said the girl might have
contracted a court marriage but it could not be confirmed.

The police shifted bodies to the city for a post-mortem and lodged the case of double murder
against the suspects.
