Training plan for woman launched

HYDERABAD: Programme Manager of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme Asim Raza has said that working in collaboration with the National Commission for Human Development his organisation has launched Women Economic Development Project to economically empower women.

Under the project, he said, 580 training centres had been set up across the province where poor and jobless women, particularly from flood-affected areas, were being trained in embroidery, stitching and other vocations.

Asim Raza was talking to reporters at a stall arranged by the programme at a festival at Public School Hyderabad.
