Islamabad, 26-Jan-2026 (PPI): Three suspicious individuals were taken into custody and nine motorcycles were impounded for legal proceedings following an extensive search and combing operation conducted within the Ramna police station's jurisdiction.

The security sweep, supervised by the SP Saddar zone, was part of a broader city-wide initiative to enhance public safety. During the operation, law enforcement officials thoroughly checked 67 people, 32 residences, 23 motorcycles, and six other vehicles.

These regular search operations are being carried out across different areas of the federal capital following directives from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to curtail criminal activities.

SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, emphasized that the primary objective of these measures is to tighten the security cordon around criminal elements and to fortify the overall security framework of the city.

He affirmed that the Islamabad Police will continue indiscriminate actions against criminals, land grabbers, and drug traffickers.

The SSP also appealed to citizens for their cooperation, urging them to immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15”.
