SUKKUR: A teenaged girl was kidnapped by armed people from her house in Bashirabad Muhalla of Thull, Jacobabad district late Tuesday night.

A group of armed persons raided the house of Manohar Lal on gunpoint overpowered the inmates, kidnapped his daughter Joti Bai, 19, and fled.

Girl’s brother Guddu has lodged a case with Thull police against Ameeruddin Buriro, Saeed Ahmed Mahar, Fakhruddin Buriro and two unidentified accused.

However, no arrest or recovery was made till Wednesday evening.
