Man kills daughter, her friend for honour

LAHORE: A general store owner killed his teenage daughter and her boyfriend in the name of honour in Kahna police jurisdiction.

Tanzeela Riaz had an affair with Babar Ali, a boy of her locality, and was often scolded by her family for it. However, she did not care and kept on meeting Babar.

Riaz and his son Fayyaz caught them both at their residence in Sowa-e-Asil and slit their throats with a kitchen knife. Both of them died before they could be given medical treatment. Riaz escaped from the scene while the police have arrested Fayyaz.
