KHAIRPUR: Khairpur police on Monday submitted a final challan of the Taslim Solangi murder case in the court, reporting that she had died of multiple bullet wounds and not a single shot.
Investigation Officer Inspector Muhammad Amin Pathan reported to the court in Pir-jo-Goth that Muhammad Ibrahim Solangi, Tasleemï¿½s husband, and eight others were involved in her murder.
The IO told the court that Zamir, Parvaiz and Habibullah were absconders, while others have been produced before the court. He stated that during investigation no evidence of dog biting the slain was found. The court remanded the accused to the jail custody.
The News has learnt that police had sent reports of evidence and empty shells of the bullets to Sindh Criminologist for getting a final opinion. After examining the post-mortem report and the empty shells, he said in his report that at least three fires were used with weapons of different bores.
