Report on attempted assault sought

LAHORE   – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Tuesday sought a report from the Rawalpindi regional police officer (RPO) about the attempted assault on a five-year-old girl in Talagang. He directed legal action against the accused held along with provision of justice to the affected family. The police registered a case against the accused identified as Qasim. The chief minister also sought a report from Lahore CCPO about an injury to a child in firing by a Dolphin Squad official at Nishtar Colony. The chief minister directed a departmental inquiry against the official. The police also arrested Dolphin Squad official Azhar and recovered the weapon from him. Usman Buzdar also directed best treatment facilities to the injured child.
