In a gruesome murder case, Multan police found the slit-throat body of a seven-year old girl from a garbage heap in the area of Chah Jannoowala on Thursday.

According to police sources, when a police team reached the scene following an information, the girl’s body was lying on the garbage heap. It appeared that her throat was slit with a sharp-edged weapon.

The deceased was identified as Shabon Fatimah, daughter of Muhammad Sadiq and resident of Vehari Road in Multan.

Police shifted her body to the Nishtar Hospital for autopsy.
