Man shoots dead wife, daughters in Wah

TAXILA: A man shot his wife and two daughters dead over a domestic dispute in the jurisdiction of Wah Saddar police on Tuesday.

Police investigators while quoting family members of the victims said the suspect, a resident of Mansehra, got into an argument with his wife, 40, and shot her along with his daughters, aged 13 and eight, and escaped.

DSP Tahir Kazmi said teams have been constituted to arrest the alleged killer.

The bodies were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, Taxila, before handing over to their heirs, he said, adding the police registered a triple-murder case against the suspect.

One killed, two injured

One person died and two others were injured in separate incidents in Attock on Tuesday.

In the first incident, a man, identified as Liaquat lost his life while his friend, Sajjad, received critical injuries after a speeding trailer crashed into their motorcycle on Fatehjang-Khorr Road in the jurisdiction of Fatehjang police.

The deceased and injured were shifted to THQ, Fatehjang.

Furthermore, a man was shot and injured by an unknown person in the jurisdiction of Attock police.

Mohammad Saeed reported to the police that he was near river Haro when the unknown person shot him and escaped.

Rescue 1122 officials shifted the injured to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
