Man kills sister, her daughter

TAXILA: A man shot dead his sister and her daughter in Muslim Colony here on Wednesday night, apparently in the name of honour.

Police said Akbar Khan fled after committing the crime. It seemed he had been hunting for his sister since she allegedly deserted her husband in Charsadda about a year back and without getting divorce married another man and settled down in Taxila.

Her present husband was not in the house when Akbar Khan barged in with murder on his mind and so escaped death, the police said.

But Akbar had already killed his brother in revenge, according to the police.
