SHIKARPUR: A man killed his mother here on Monday, apparently because of her second marriage.

The woman’s first marriage had ended in divorce and she married another man.

This enraged Nazeer Ahmed Pathan who shot her dead with the help of his friend Mir Nawaz.

The Stuart Ganj police have registered an FIR and arrested Nazeer and Mir Nawaz.

In an incident in the village of Bado, an elder of Lolai tribe, Sadoro Lolai, was killed and his relatives Abdul Rasheed Lolai and Sajid Lolai were injured in a clash with a rival group on the Eid day.

The injured and the body were taken to a hospital. The body of deceased was handed over to relatives after post-mortem.

The clash is said to have been triggered by a matrimonial dispute, which has claimed another life.

On the complaint of Mohammad Ameen Lolai, nephew of the deceased, the Dakhan police have registered an FIR against Mohammad Sharif, Wazir Ali, Mohammad Hassan, Nouraiz and Mulla Soomar.

However, no arrest was made till Monday evening.
