Man arrested in Mian Channu for attempted sexual assault of two-year-old girl

On February 09, local police detained a man in Mian Channu, accused of attempting to sexually assault a two-year-old girl. The suspect, identified as Kashif, allegedly enticed the young child to a secluded spot with the intent to commit the act.

The police were alerted when passersby heard the distressed child’s cries and notified the authorities. Officers responded immediately, arresting the suspect at the scene. Following the arrest, the toddler was transported to a nearby hospital for medical assessment to ensure her well-being.

A formal complaint lodged by the child’s father has led to the initiation of a serious legal case against Kashif. The police have confirmed that the investigation is underway and have vowed to apply the full force of the law in dealing with the suspect.
