FAISALABAD: People’s Colony police rescued a 12-year-old maid from the clutches of her employer at Abdullahpur on Sunday.
Sheikh Jehangir Ahmad was allegedly beating his maid Ayesha without any reason. Hearing the cry of the maid, people gathered outside the house of Jehangir and knocked at his door but he did not open it and continued beating her. In the meantime, people informed police, who rescued Ayesha. Police have arrested the house owner.
