ISLAMABAD: The city police have arrested a man on the charge of killing his wife to grab her property worth millions of rupees.

According to the police, the accused, a salesman at a shop in Faizabad, murdered his wife Noreen Akhtar Monday evening to grab her property including a house worth Rs5 million at Ghori Town and a plot valuing millions.

Earlier, police claimed the victim was shot dead Monday night but the autopsy suggested she had been stabbed in the morning.
