SWAT: The police claimed to have arrested a man on Monday for allegedly killing his sister ‘for honour’ in Rahimabad area of Swat on Sunday.
According to the police, the suspect, a resident of Malam Jabba and currently residing in Rahimabad,
allegedly shot dead his married sister over so-called honour-related reasons.
Swat district police officer Mohammad Umar Khan directed immediate action following the incident.
Acting promptly, SHO Fazal Rahim Khan, along with a police team, used modern investigative tools to
trace and arrest the suspect within hours.
Police said the murder weapon, a pistol, was also recovered on the suspect’s identification and further
investigation was underway.
