Land for women’s centre grabbed

BAHAWALPUR: People have protested the occupation of land meant for a working women’s hall and at craft bazaar at Multani Gate in the city.

Land grabbers have started building cold storages at the land and also uprooted the foundation stone of the bazaar laid down by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif last month.

Member of the Provincial Assembly Zulfiqar Ali and CM’s Task Force for Essentials for South Punjab Chairman Samiullah Chaudhry said they would look into the matter.
