Lady doctor’s rape in Sui hospital condemned

January,06,2005,Eminent tribal leader of Sui, Wadera Ali Mohammad Mander, has condemned the rape of a lady doctor of PPL hospital, Sui and alleged that security officials were involved in this heinous crime. . Addressing a press conference in Sui, he said there was strict security around the PPL hospital and its residential colony where no outsider could enter without the permission of the security officials.

He said the PPL management and security officials of the hospital were hiding the facts and trying to create confusion about the incident after it was confirmed that four security officials were involved in the crime.

Were keeping the lady doctor in a permanent state of unconsciousness by giving her injections. He said even the area tehsildar had not been allowed to record the victim’s statement.

“The lady doctor belongs to Sindh, and being a woman, we have much regard and respect to her. Assaulting a woman is against the Bloch tradition, which a Bloch can never think of, forget or forgive,” he observed.

He demanded of the government to arrest the culprits immediately and award them exemplary punishment irrespective of their social or tribal status.
