SUKKUR: Kainaat Soomro along with her parents, sisters and brothers observed a token hunger strike in front of the Larkana press club on the third consecutive day against the non-arrest of her gang rape culprits.
Kainaat, resident of Veenjhar Para, Mehar, had been gang-raped recently after being kidnapped while coming from School to home.
She along with her mother Zakia Soomro, father Abdul Nabi Soomro, sisters and brothers and other relatives reached the press club and observed a three-hour token hunger strike.
On this occasion, she told newsmen that on the one hand the culprits were not being arrested, and on the other the culprits were pressurising her parents to withdraw the case.
She appealed to the chief justice of Pakistan to order the police to arrest the criminals. She threatened self-immolation if the culprits were not arrested soon.
