QUETTA: Four people, including two women, were killed in two incidents of ‘honour killing’ in Dera Allayar and Barkhan areas on Tuesday.
In Dera Allayar tehsil, a man namely Gul Hassan shot dead his sister and her alleged paramour for having illicit relations, and managed to flee from the scene. Their bodies were handed over to heirs after completing medico-legal formalities at a hospital. Police registered a case and kicked off investigation.
In the second incident, a man identified as Rahim Dad gunned down his wife and her alleged lover Shahabuddin in Barkhan district.
Being informed, a police team rushed to the spot, but the accused managed to runaway. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
