HAFIZABAD: A minor girl was killed while her minor brother was injured when their father opened fire on his wife over a domestic dispute in Kot Ishaq on Thursday night. Ch Ikramullah Tarar and his wife exchanged hot words over a domestic dispute. In a fit of anger, Ikram allegedly opened fire on his wife but bullets hit his minor daughter Maryam and son Mujtaba while his wife remained unhurt. As a result, Maryam and Mujtaba were seriously injured. They were rushed to the DHQ Hospital from where Maryam was referred to a hospital in Lahore but she died on the way. Police have registered a case.
