Eight women murdered by husbands
MULTAN,January 27,2005:Eight women were murdered by their husbands over domestic disputes and suspicion of illicit relations in the Punjab during last 48 hours.
Muhammad Amin, along with his four accomplices, allegedly murdered his wife Amir Mai on suspicion of illicit relations at Yaro Shah village, Rajanpur. Riaz Ahmad, along with his accomplice Qaisar, allegedly axed his wife Razia for developing illicit relations with Zafar at Qadarpur Bakhsha, Jhang. Kausar Bibi was allegedly axed to death by her husband Haq Nawaz over a marriage issue.
Ijaz Hussain Shah allegedly strangled his pregnant wife Sakina over a domestic dispute at Jhok Gulab Shah, Ahmadpur East. A husband shot his wife dead and ran away after locking his house at Sanjarpur. Qutabuddin allegedly strangled his pregnant wife at Imam Bakhsh Baloch village at Ahmadpur East.
Hajiran was allegedly poisoned to death by her husband at Rakh Charoha village, Dera Ghazi Khan, while a man shot his wife dead on suspicion of illicit relations. Meanwhile, Allah Rakha of Budha village, Mailsi, allegedly killed his sister Kaneez Bibi on suspicion of illicit relations.
