Cousins shoot ‘kari’ girl

SUKKUR – A young woman was murdered as she slept in her home in a village on September 5, midnight, amid suspicion it was a case of karo-kari.

Attackers, reported to have been two, opened fire on Qaim Khatoon and fled, reports from village Haidar Chang near Faizganj said, quoting police.

The two are alleged to be her cousins who have accused her of having an affair with a young man of the village.
