LARKANA: An adopted son gagged a woman to death on Friday only for Rs20,000 which she got after selling a buffalo.
The accused Dodo Jagirani after killing his mother Izzat Khatoon in village Jeean Abro in the jurisdiction of Mahi Makol police station, escaped.
It was reported that the deceased had sold a buffalo for Rs20,000 few days ago, while the accused wanted to grab the money.
The mother refused to give the money which infuriated the accused who in the lust of money killed the woman, who had brought him up.
