Lahore: additional District and sessions judge Naeem Ahmed on Friday dismissed a petition filed by a female lawyer seeking a case against her husband for allegedly throwing acid on her. Munawar Shahzadi told the court that the police were not registering a case against her husband threw acid at her at their home at Lajpat Road in Shahdara. She said when she approached Shahdara station house officer, he did not entertain to register a case. On Friday, the judge dismissed the petition after the petitioner did not turn up before the court.
