BHAKKAR: A trainee nurse was injured in an acid attack here on Friday. Ainee Khan, daughter of Ajmal Khan of Dulewala, was returning to the hostel with her classmates when Uzair Khan threw acid on her, injuring her critically. Later, the accused also opened fire on the victim. Dr Riaz Ahmed caught the accused and handed him over to the police. A pistol and a bottle of acid were recovered from the accused.
