Youth killed over karo-kari

KARACHI: A young man was killed over karo-kari on Tuesday in Maripur police station limits.

Police said Imtiaz, 24, was killed by his uncle, Bachal, who had labeled him as karo with his daughter-in-law. The police said that Bachal dumped Imtiaz’s body in the bushes near Journalist Colony, adding that Bachal had also killed his daughter-in-law in Kandhkot, interior Sindh.

Body found: The three-day-old body of Zulfiqar Saeed, 35, was found at his house in New Karachi. The police said the victim might have been killed over old enmity.
