KHAIRPUR: Police on Monday presented two married women before a court, saying the women sought police protection after they feared they would be killed on the charge of Karo-Kari.

The police said Najma and Shumaila reached the Risaldar police station seeking protection, as they feared their husbands would kill them over Karo-Kari. The police presented both the women to the court and later, handed them over to their relatives on the assurance of protection for their lives.
