Women killed for ‘karo-kari’

SUKKUR: Two women fell victim to karo-kari in Chak Siyal in the limits of Khanpur Mahar police station on Saturday.

Reports reaching here said that Noor Mohammad Siyal and Malhar Siyal, both cousins, suspected that their wives Ms Sughra and Ms Haseena had illicit relations with some people of the area. The two along with their uncle Bahar Din Siyal and others first raided the house of Noor Mohammad Siyal and shot dead his wife Ms Sughra. Later, they raided the house of Malhar Siyal and killed his wife Ms Haseena.
