Women education must to end karo-karo

KARCHI- Sindh Minister for Women Development Tauqir Fatima Bhutto has said that educated women can play effective role to eliminate outdated traditions like Karo-Kari.

Talking to women MPAs of Pakistan Peoples Party on Monday at her office, minister said present government is striving for women’s rights, and viewed that rural women could not raise their voice for elimination of outdated traditions, therefore we should make efforts collectively.

Tauqir Fatima said her department would soon launch a campaign to aware masses of women’s rights and urged NGOs and media to play their part in this regard. Kalsoom Chandio, Rai Naz Bozdar, Shamim Aara panhwar, Hina Destagir and other were present.
