KASUR: A woman was shot dead by her uncle when she refused to return to her husband’s house due to estrangement at Rakhwala village on Wednesday.

Reports said Shumaila had left her husband over some dispute and was staying at her parents’ place at Rakhwala village. Her uncle, Talib Hussain, and brother Muhammad Arshad repeatedly asked her to go to her husband’s place but she would resist.

Talib shot dead Shumaila over the issue and fled.
