Karachi: The body of a woman, who was strangled to death after being gang-raped, was found in the Zaman Town police limits on Tuesday.
The corpse of the 35-year-old woman, whose identity could not be established immediately, was found near Sector 50/A in Korangi No. 3-1/2.
Some passers-by saw the body and informed the police, who shifted it to the JPMC for legal formalities. The lady MLO of the hospital said that the woman was first gang-raped and then strangled to death. An eyewitness later told the police that four people in a car dumped the body and fled.
