OKARA: A woman was kidnapped and raped by an ambulance driver here on Thursday. Asia Bibi, the wife of Shahzad Syed of Mehboob Town, came to the DHQ Hospital to get medicine.
When she came out of the hospital, Waqas Khan of Doctors Colony, Luqman of Muslim Colony and Muhammad Hassan of Joiya village kidnapped her by ambulance (LZB-6449) and took her to an unknown place where driver Luqman raped her. Later, the accused threw her outside DHQ Hospital and escaped. The A Division police have registered a case.
