MAILSI: Five people have been accused of selling a married woman after raping her.
In a petition filed with Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Abdul Hameed, Muhammad Iqbal of Mauza Khanpur alleged that Mumtaz Khan, Noor Muhammad, Muhammad Jamal, Muhammad Mukhtar, Ghulam Farid, Tasleem Mai, Bubby and Shahnaz kidnapped his wife some weeks ago.
He said Mumtaz Khan, Noor Muhammad, Muhammad Jamal, Muhammad Mukhtar and Ghulam Farid raped
his wife and later sold her to unidentified people in Karachi.The judge has sought a report from the Saddar police. On Thursday, a girl was raped at Mauza Hassan Shah.
The daughter of Muhammad Mushtaq was working in a field when Mazhar allegedly abducted her and took her to a house where he raped her.
The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
