Woman, daughter killed over marriage row

FAISALABAD: A woman and her daughter were gunned down over a marriage dispute in Sattiana on Wednesday.
Arshad Ali of Chak 435-GB in Sattiana police precincts came to the house of his relative Abdul Shakoor and gunned down his wife Hamida and 16-year-old daughter Shaista.
The motive behind the double murder is said to be a marriage dispute. Arshad wanted to marry Shaista, but her parents refused outright. The criminal fled.
