ISLAMABAD – Miss Umme Salma has got her doctorate degree in chemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad under the supervision of Professor Dr M Mazhar.
Her topic of research was “Synthesis and characterisation of biologically active organotin compounds containing silicon and germanium”. She completed her postgraduate studies under the Ministry of Science and Technology split Ph.D programme.
She carried out part of her research work at chemistry department Bath University UK, under the supervision of Dr K C Molloy. She got “Charlse Wallace Trust Award” from British Council Islamabad for short-term stay at Bath University, UK. Presently she is working as scientific officer at PCSIR Laboratories Complex Peshawar.
